Dear CBME Graduate:

If you graduated in 1997 or later, you probably completed an exit survey in which we asked you to judge the importance of a number of educational objectives, and also asked you how well you thought those objectives had been achieved at OU. You are now in a position not only to judge how important these objectives actually are, but you are also in the best position to judge how well prepared you actually were when you graduated. This is the feedback we must have if we are to continue to improve our undergraduate program. I request that you help us, and thereby help future CBME graduates, by completing the following survey, which should only take a few minutes.

There are two parts to this survey. In the first part you will be asked to evaluate our program based on our published program goals and specific rating criteria; it is very similar to the senior exit survey used since 1997. The second part contains more open-ended questions and allows for more specific input.

I have provided a place for your name and more detailed contact information to help us keep in touch, but only your name is required for us to process the results. I will examine all responses in detail and disseminate the results among all faculty members and to the OkChE Board, our board of visitors. Thanks in advance for your help.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us for any reason, or even stop by for a visit.

Sincerely,

Lance L. Lobban
Director
